Hydrogen is poised to become a leading solution for storing renewable energy and a versatile fuel for direct-fired applications. At TIB-TEC, we recognize the immense potential of our hydrogen technology and have identified specific target markets for our business development.

Our primary focus initially lies in stationary power plants. We aim to equip smaller power generator sets, including those used for emergency supply or as standalone power generators with our Technology. As we progress, we envision expanding into larger power generator units, further amplifying the impact of our technology in the power generation sector.

In the transport sector, hydrogen fuel cells play a significant role in powering vehicles. We see promising opportunities in heavy combustion engine setups, particularly in marine applications. The abundance of thermal heat and space, along with a clear line of sight to business value, make this sector an attractive target for our technology. Additionally, industries that generate high levels of heat, such as cement and steel plants, present potential areas for deployment.

Recognizing the emission reduction potential in the process industry e.g. steel, glas or cement, we aim to address the current reliance on fossil fuels for hydrogen production. By utilizing our technology, we can pave the way for the production of green hydrogen, significantly reducing emissions and promoting sustainable practices.

Our tiered deployment plan ensures a strategic approach, focusing on high-value delivery applications first while building credibility. We remain flexible and adaptable to evolving business environments, regularly reviewing priorities to align with market demands. Through this approach, we aim to accelerate the energy transition and demonstrate our commitment to a greener future.

Potential Application Areas of Technology

WE HAVE THOROUGHLY ANALYSED AND IDENTIFIED MULTIPLE POTENTIAL APPLICATION AREAS WHERE OUR TECHNOLOGY CAN MAKE A SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT. THESE AREAS OFFER OPPORTUNITIES FOR FUTURE LICENSEES TO UTILIZE AND BENEFIT FROM OUR TECHNOLOGY’S CAPABILITIES. SOME OF THE POTENTIAL APPLICATION AREAS INCLUDE:

Our technology has the potential to transform the cargo vessel transportation sector, particularly in heavy combustion engine and gas turbines setups. By integrating our technology, marine applications and other heavy-duty vehicles can achieve cleaner and more efficient operations.
Industries that generate substantial amounts of heat, such as cement and steel plants, can benefit from our technology by utilizing waste heat to produce hydrogen, thereby reducing emissions, and enhancing overall energy efficiency. Our technology can further become a new feature for heat recovery solutions, creating a value add through the production of hydrogen.
Our technology can revolutionize power generation by enabling the production of green hydrogen on-site, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting clean energy solutions. Waste heat from Diesel Gensets can be extended with our Thermal Inverter Solution, utilizing the excess heat and produce green hydrogen from water. The same applies for Gas Turbines, which would further allow to reinject the produced hydrogen into the combustion process.
Our technology can also be applied to smaller-scale applications, such as residential and commercial settings. It offers opportunities for on-site hydrogen production, providing clean and sustainable energy for various purposes.
Solar Panels are produced by melting Silicium at 1400C° creating loads of waste heat. Utilizing this heat would enable PV Manufacturer to produce hydrogen that either could be used to fire the heat source or to store it for other applications or users. This case demonstrates a double-dipping in sustainability.

We also aim to grant hydrogen producers access to our technology. Today’s green hydrogen producers rely on one technology only: Electrolysis. Producing green hydrogen via electrolysis would require the availability of renewable powerm which cannot always be provided. Providing our thermal inverter technology to green hydrogen producers will enable them to extend their product portfolio and value proposition to their clients.

These potential application areas demonstrate the versatility and wide-ranging impact of our technology. By licensing our technology to capable partners in these sectors, we aim to unlock the potential of both the partners and ourselves and drive meaningful change towards a more sustainable future.

While we have identified potential sectors for future application, our current pre-development phase mainly concentrates on using the TIB-Device and our Technology with internal combustion engines, running on fossil fuels or hydrogen. Our strategic focus lies in power generation and stationary-like applications due to the accessibility and commercial appeal offered by the considerable number of engine manufacturers and existing engines in operation.

Additionally, we see promising opportunities in other sectors like process industries. Recent publications indicate that these industries are actively seeking innovative solutions to improve processes and adopt low-emission, hydrogen-based alternatives, showing their commitment to investing in sustainable solutions for heavy industries.

Future Licensing Model

BASED ON EXPERT MARKET ANALYSIS AND EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FROM POTENTIAL CLIENTS AND PARTNERS, TIB-TEC’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS DECIDED AGAINST ESTABLISHING THEIR OWN PRODUCTION AND SALES FACILITIES DUE TO SIGNIFICANT CAPITAL INVESTMENT AND POTENTIAL REGULATORY RISKS. INSTEAD, WE PLAN TO EXPLORE TO LICENSE OUR TECHNOLOGY, FOCUSING ON FLEXIBILITY, COLLABORATION, AND PARTNERSHIPS TO EFFICIENTLY BRING THEIR TECHNOLOGY TO MARKET WHILE MANAGING POTENTIAL RISKS IN THE EVOLVING INDUSTRY LANDSCAPE.

After conducting expert market analysis and receiving expressions of interest from potential clients and partners, the Board of Directors at TIB-TEC has determined that establishing our own production and sales facilities would entail significant capital investment. Additionally, the time required for such an endeavour poses potential risks, as regulatory changes may impact the production and acceptance of combustion engines, potentially leading to delays or restrictions.

Considering these factors, the Board has made the strategic decision to explore alternative approaches that minimize capital expenditure as well as mitigate regulatory uncertainties and has decided thatTIB-TEC will license out its technology to partners and clients. This approach allows to adapt swiftly to evolving market conditions and to leverage partnerships bringing our technology to market more efficiently.

By embracing this flexible and collaborative approach, we can focus on accelerating the adoption of our technology and delivering value to our stakeholders while effectively managing potential risks and challenges in the rapidly evolving industry landscape at minimal operational costs.
